Rønbjerg Yachting Harbour

Rønbjerg Marina offers a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful nature on the coast of the Limfjord. Close to Livø and Himmerland’s attractions.

Welcome to Rønbjerg Marina, where the tranquility of the fjord and a cozy atmosphere take center stage. Here, houses are few and far between, and life moves at a slower pace.

Stay in Rønbjerg and enjoy the beautiful views while the Livø ferry crosses back and forth a couple of times a day. The area around Rønbjerg and Livø offers perfect conditions for sailing, with calm waters and steady winds.

The marina provides modern facilities including a kitchen, barbecue, lounge, Wi-Fi, toilets, and showers – everything you need for a comfortable stay.

At the harbor, you’ll also find the local fish house, where you can buy fresh fish in all varieties – perfect for grilling on the marina’s barbecue. They also serve delicious take-away dishes, including their famous giant “stjerneskud”, a local favorite.

For groceries, there is a small shop at Landal Rønbjerg, and a larger supermarket is located just 4 km away in Ranum.

Experiences around Rønbjerg

On a day trip, you can visit the car-free island of Livø, also known as the pearl of the Limfjord. You can either sail there yourself or take the ferry from Rønbjerg in 20 minutes. On the island, you can unwind completely and enjoy the peaceful nature, free from traffic and city noise. Livø also holds a darker piece of Danish history: De Kellerske Anstalter, which for 50 years housed society’s criminals, outcasts, and those once considered morally insane.

Just a 5-minute walk from the marina is Landal Rønbjerg, a family holiday park. Indoors, you can explore the tropical water park, enjoy the play area, or use the fitness facilities. Outdoors, you’ll find mini-golf, footgolf, and many other activities.

If you enjoy wine, head north to Glenholm Vineyard, a small family-run winery about an hour’s walk from Rønbjerg. Here you can taste the wines and join one of their popular guided tours.

From Rønbjerg, you can also sail north to Løgstør, where a cozy maritime atmosphere and the town’s famous mussels await. During the summer, the town hosts a variety of events worth experiencing.
