Kimbrerfesten

Every year in week 36, Kimbrerfesten welcomes more than 20,000 visitors to Anlægget in the heart of Aars. From Thursday to Sunday, the festival offers a wide range of experiences, community spirit, and a warm, friendly atmosphere – which is why we proudly call it Denmark’s Coziest Town Festival.

Kimbrerfesten is planned and organised by the Kimbrerfest Committee in cooperation with eight local associations that contribute volunteer support. Around 250 volunteers take part throughout the festival weekend, and as a token of appreciation, the festival’s profits are shared among the participating associations.

Kimbrerfesten is a celebration for the entire local community and a strong example of what community spirit and volunteer dedication can create in the heart of Aars.
