Program and practical Information – The Völva’s World
The Völva’s World is a walk from the harbor in Hobro to Fyrkat Ring Fortress. Learn more about the route, the evening’s program, and other practical information.
The Route from Hobro Harbor to Fyrkat
The route is approximately 4 km long and goes from Det Røde Pakhus (the Red Warehouse), through the shipyard, Skibsgade, past the church, Ambu Square, past Engsøen, and ends at Fyrkat Ring Fortress. Walking guides will be available to lead us along the correct path.
For those with limited mobility, alternative routes will be indicated for certain sections.
If you are unable to walk but still want to participate, there is a limited opportunity to be transported by bus out to Fyrkat after the walk has started. Please indicate this preference when purchasing your ticket.
After the event ends, there will be bus transportation available from Fyrkat back to Hobro Harbor. No prior registration is required for this.
