Rold Church
In Rold Church, you can experience the historical furnishings and enjoy the scenic surroundings.
Rold Church was constructed with raw and split rubble and brick, originally in the late Romanesque or early Gothic style. However, in 1891-93, the church underwent such extensive restoration that no datable details have been preserved.
The church features a simple altarpiece from around 1600-1625 with a painting from around 1703. The baptismal font is a Romanesque granite font with a smooth basin. The bell-shaped base has corner leaves.
The pulpit dates back to the 1930s. In the tower, there are two bells, with the oldest one dating back to the 15th century.
