Klosterkælderen - Gallary & Events

The antique shop in Mariager "Klosterkælderen" is much more than "just" an antique shop with Danish porcelain, figures, faience, ceramics, books and other beautiful items.

It is also a gallery with changing exhibitions and events. The gallery takes its form in both the shop upstairs as well as downstairs where you will find the historic vaulted convent cellar. 

The exhibitions at the gallery will be formed after a theme, artist or material. 

Annually there will be 2-3 exhibitions and in it will be possible to book a lecture with topics such as: Figurative Stoneware from Bing & Grøndahl, Dahl Jensen - A Danish prcelain factory, Sculptures: Helge Christoffersen & Johannes Hedegaard, The Terrine - the porcelain fram's magnificent piece etc.
