Johnny Haugaard's Spring Exhibition in Løgstør

The Flower Man Johnny Haugaard has once again created a masterpiece! Look forward to experiencing the Spring Exhibition "The Voice of Nature – Decay" in Løgstør.

The Flower Man Johnny Haugaard Returns to Himmerland
After his success with Denmark's most beautiful Christmas exhibition, "THE ANGEL," held in the old swimming hall in Aars, he has once again created a fantastic exhibition that this time has spread to several locations in Vesthimmerland.

"The Voice of Nature – Decay"

  • This is the name of the Spring Exhibition, which originates in Aars and has now spread to several towns in Himmerland, where outdoor art installations will adorn the cityscapes of Løgstør, Farsø, and Aalestrup. The three towns will represent the three elements: WATER, FIRE, and EARTH - while the final element, AIR, belongs to Aars.

WATER in Løgstør

With the theme of WATER in the Mussel Town of Løgstør, it is, of course, mussels that are in focus. Here, 15 large waves made of blue, crunching shells will form an installation symbolizing the rolling waves of the Limfjord - winding their way through the town.

The large waves, along with jellyfish, will symbolize the water bearers. When thinking about horoscopes and astrology, you will know that at the turn of the year, we entered the Age of Aquarius. An era focused on balance, freedom, cooperation - and a reminder that we are strongest when united.

The outdoor installations are free to experience - and you can easily see them all in one day. However, if you wish to extend your stay, you can find accommodation and delightful dining options, providing the perfect setting for a cozy holiday in Himmerland. The towns also offer a rich commercial life, so don’t forget your wallet if you want to make a good deal.

Visit the Limfjord Museum and the Mussel Beach

Get a unique insight into life beneath the water's surface at the Limfjord Museum, where the story of Løgstør's old fishermen is also told. The Limfjord Museum is located right by Frederik VII's Canal and, on the other side, by the famous mussel beach, where it crunches a little extra under your feet.
