In the heart of Vesthimmerland’s nature, the Uhrehøje and Myrhøj Plantations hide four varied hiking routes, each offering unique nature experiences.
Here you can experience everything from peaceful forest paths and open heathlands to bird-rich bogs and old gravel pits. Whether you prefer a short, relaxed walk or a longer hike through hilly terrain, you’ll find a route to suit you.
Lace up your shoes and let the scents, sounds, and landscapes of the forest guide you into nature.
Starting point for the hiking route
By car or bicycle
Park at the site at Farsøvej 95. This is also the starting point for the white and yellow routes. The green route starts about 100 metres along the gravel road/Farsøvej and continues as a scenic walk into the plantation.
Along Farsøvej is the house belonging to Uhrehøje – Teambuilding and Event, which can be rented for corporate events, parties, or holidays.
The MTB club has installed a defibrillator at the house.
By public transport
If you are travelling by public transport, the nearest bus stop is located 1.4 km from the starting point. The stop is called “Sjørup Gårde (Farsøvej/Vesthimmerlands Kommune)” and is served by bus line 522 operated by NT (Nordjyllands Trafikselskab).
- Use Rejseplanen.dk or the NT app to get the exact route from your starting point.
