The GASmuseum in Hobro
The Flower Man, Johnny Haugaard, and his creative volunteers took over the place in 2025, and this summer they went full throttle with flowers, völvas, and historical adventures.
At the GAS Museum, not everything is as it used to be. The place where visitors once could dive into exciting exhibitions and experience Denmark’s history of gas and energy has undergone a huge transformation this summer. Magical, one might say.
The Flower Man, Johnny Haugaard, who took over the rustic setting
In July and August, visitors could experience the fantastic flower exhibition “DENMARK”, created by a host of creative volunteers, with Johnny Haugaard as the man behind the ideas.
The exhibition, like Johnny’s other projects, was a captivating story that sparked wonder, admiration, and a transformed view of nature’s power and creative possibilities.
The exhibition closed on August 31 – and the dismantling is now in full swing. What the future holds for the GAS Museum remains to be seen. Perhaps the old exhibition will be revived once more?
