Café Farmor at GASmuseet in Hobro
Visit Café Farmor at the GAS Museum in Hobro. Here you’ll find tasty sandwiches, hot and cold drinks – and some truly delicious ice cream.
Visit Café Farmor at the GAS Museum this summer.
As the name suggests, the café and its interior exude real grandma style and nostalgic heirlooms from the past. The food, however, is presented in a more modern interpretation — but the taste is unmistakably delicious.
Enjoy a tasty sandwich, try the delightful desserts, or sink your teeth into a refreshing ice cream from Hansen Is. The café offers both hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee, tea, local Bies juice and beer, soft drinks, wine, and whatever else your heart may desire.
The café is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM — just like Johnny Haugaard’s exhibition DENMARK, which you can read more about below:
The Flower Man Johnny Haugaard has taken over the rustic surroundings
In July and August, you can look forward to the fantastic flower exhibition DENMARK, created by a host of creative volunteers, with Johnny Haugaard as the visionary behind it all.
Like Johnny’s previous exhibitions, this will be a captivating narrative that inspires awe, admiration, and a new perspective on nature’s power and creative potential.
Look forward to seeing rune stones, glimpses of both Thyra and Gorm the Old, and even the legendary Völva from Fyrkat in Hobro.
The nature exhibition DENMARK opens on July 11 at 11:00 AM — and will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM until and including August 31.
