Become a Volunteer in Johnny Haugaard’s Creative Universe

Join us this summer in a magical universe at the GAS Museum in Hobro. Throughout June, we’ll be working on creating the Midgard Serpent in Hobro, its “skin” in the Bramslev Hills, and the DANMARK Flower Exhibition taking place at the museum.

Everyone is welcome!

Are you great at welding? Handy with a hammer and love working with sticks and wood? Or do you prefer the more whimsical, crafty tasks using glue guns, wire and the tools of nature?

There’s a task for everyone – and you know what? Every task is seriously cool!

An experience of a lifetime awaits

As a creative volunteer, you’ll get a unique experience – and you’ll be part of something truly extraordinary. You’ll be surrounded by friendly people, and you’re free to contribute as much (or as little) time as you can manage.

“It’s amazing to see that we can create a work of art from nothing. Every day we learn something new – not just about ourselves, but about what we’re capable of as people. I find great joy in being part of this community – and the wonderful conversations with other volunteers mean the world to me.”
– Quote from Elly Bedsted from Holstebro, who, together with her husband, has taken part in several exhibitions and is now in Hobro to help create unforgettable experiences at the GAS Museum.

How do I become a creative volunteer?

You can show up at the GAS Museum any day between 9:00 AM and 8:30 PM.

Or you can sign up via the “Min Forening” app – click here to hear Johnny explain how to register.

All creative volunteers enjoy free breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee and dinner.

A Midgard Serpent, a Flower Exhibition and a Skin Sewn from Recycled Clothes

Three amazing projects are taking shape in Hobro!

The 4.5 km long Midgard Serpent winding through Hobro, the DANMARK nature and flower exhibition at the GAS Museum, and the serpent’s skin being created in Bramslev Hills.
